Please accept this as my testimonial:
I enrolled with Treffpunkt at the recommendation of a colleague. With a busy work schedule, I had the opportunity to participate for only one week.

Before I arrived, my accomodation was arranged and a placement test was administered. Upon my arrival, I found the city to be facsinating (many people outside of Germany do not know Bamberg - keeping it a hidden jewel!) and my apartment was only a 5 minute walk from the school.

My training was intensive and the week went by way too fast between nights at 'Stammtisch', where all the students get together for food and a drink, watching a unique Faschings parade in the City streets, and having lunch with classmates at one of the nearby cafes or outdoor markets. The instructors are fantastic and my placement in class was perfect (not too fast, and not too slow).

I also recommend the individual lessons where you learn so much more than you think possible in 90 minutes!

I feel like I made lasting relationships with my other colleagues (hailing from Japan, Italy, Spain, UK, etc) in just 5 days.

The other advantage to having such an international student community is that we all had one common language - German! I'm truly looking forward to coming back when work allows and would strongly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn high-german in a unique town with friendly people.
