QUESTIONS:

Dear Mr James*,
My name is robert. Im planning to go to germany next year to improve my german language abilities. I came across the, trefftpunkt website and it seems to have all that I need.

Im looking for a school that is not filled with teenagers (Im 36) and doesnt have 20 to 30 students per class. Could you Email me about your experiences and your impressions of the school. Thanks for your time.

Happy to try and answer your questions.

I am 33 years old so I shared your concern about being with people your age. During my 2 weeks there in December, there were a total of about 20 students and they ranged in age from 22 to 50. I would say the majority were in their 20's and 30's and were there to improve their language skills for career purposes.

The school gives you a thorough exam before you arrive in order to place you at the appropriate level. My class had 6 people the entire time. I joined a group that had already been together for a few weeks as people attend the school for varying lengths of time.

Please don't hesitate to come back to me with more questions. My wife and I are considering taking a week of our vacation this summer to return to Treff-Punkt and continue working on our German skills.
