Betreff: Mein Kommentar zu Bamberg und TREFFPUNKT

My name is Katja. I am from Oslo, Norway. I spent 3 weeks in September 2011 in Bamberg and attended German courses at TREFFPUNKT.

I had a wonderful time by TREFFPUNKT. The courses were well structured and the teachers were very professional, helpful and friendly. I really feel that my German knowledge has improved during those three weeks.

I also did attend activities in the afternoon organized by TREFFPUNKT, such as city walking, beer drinking and social gathering at “Stammtisch”, movie-watching at the Institute and eating lunch together on Mondays! I can really recommend these social activities because they offer a great chance to get in touch with other students and the possibility to learn more about Bamberg and other countries and cultures.

During my 3 weeks in Bamberg I chose to stay with a German family. I often had conversations in german with my hostess and her children, which was a perfect occasion for me to improve my oral knowledge.
All things considered, I found that TREFFPUNKT is like a big family, the Institute is neither too big nor too small, Daniela, Alexandra and all the teachers are doing a marvelous job to include all students so that everybody feel welcome. I can absolutely recommend TREFFPUNKT to everybody, you get the chance to improve your German language but you also get a unique possibility to learn more about German culture and traditions in Bamberg.
